Fingent is looking for an experienced Odoo Developer with good development skills in Python. Candidates should have hands-on experience in end to end implementation of the custom modules in Odoo.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Develop, customize, and maintain Odoo modules and applications.
• Implement advanced Odoo customizations based on business requirements.
• Work with standard Odoo modules including Sales, CRM, Purchase, Inventory, Accounting, HR, Manufacturing, Project, Website, eCommerce, and POS.
• Develop and integrate REST APIs and third-party applications.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize Odoo applications and database queries.
• Perform Odoo version upgrades, migrations, and data migrations.
• Develop custom reports, workflows, automation, access controls, and business logic.
• Implement AI/LLM-based integrations and automation where required.
• Follow Git-based development and deployment practices.
  

Preferred Skill Set:

• Strong knowledge of Python, PostgreSQL, XML, QWeb, HTML/CSS, OWL and JavaScript.
• Hands-on experience with Odoo 13 to 19, Community and Enterprise.
• Good understanding of Odoo ORM, inheritance, models, views, security, workflows, scheduled actions, and automation.
• Experience with REST APIs, JSON/XML, webhooks, and third-party integrations.
• Experience with GitHub/GitLab, Git branching, pull requests, and code reviews.
• Knowledge of Odoo frontend development and OWL.
• Experience with AI/API integrations, OpenAI or similar LLM platforms is an advantage.
• Knowledge of Docker, Linux, CI/CD, and cloud deployment is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to convert business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
