Skills Set

  • Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps Server/Services, including designing, building, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines from scratch using YAML.
  • Hands-on experience provisioning and managing Microsoft Azure infrastructure from scratch using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, ARM, or Bicep).
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure, including at least 4–5 of the following services
  • Virtual Machines
  • Azure App Service
  • Azure Functions
  • Azure SQL
  • Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)
  • Azure Front Door / Networking
  • Service Bus
  • Azure Container Apps (ACA)
  • Azure Database for PostgreSQL
  • Microsoft Foundry

Strong knowledge of:

  • Windows Server administration, IIS, and Windows Firewall
  • .NET application deployment and troubleshooting
  • MS SQL Server basics (backup/restore and basic performance tuning)
    Proficiency in:
  • Familiarity with Ansible is an advantage.
  • Experience with monitoring tools such as Azure Monitor, Application Insights, Prometheus, Grafana, or New Relic.
  • Exposure to Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Basic understanding of networking, security, and hybrid (cloud + on-premises) environments.
  • Knowledge of Azure security best practices, performance tuning, and cost optimization.
  • Azure certifications such as AZ-900 or AZ-104 are preferred.
  • Good communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills with a focus on automation.

Roles and Responsibilities :

  • Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
  • Provision and manage Azure infrastructure using Terraform, ARM Templates, or Bicep.
  • Deploy, configure, and maintain Azure resources and application environments.
  • Administer Windows Servers, IIS, and .NET application hosting environments.
  • Collaborate with development teams to resolve deployment, infrastructure, and environment-related issues.
  • Monitor infrastructure and applications using Azure monitoring and observability tools.
  • Perform troubleshooting and root cause analysis (RCA) for infrastructure and application issues.
  • Configure and manage networking, security, DNS, load balancers, and access control.
  • Implement backup, disaster recovery, and scaling strategies for applications and databases.
  • Ensure infrastructure adheres to security, compliance, and governance standards.
  • Maintain infrastructure documentation and operational runbooks.
  • Work with cross-functional and international teams to deliver infrastructure and DevOps solutions on schedule.
