SAP Fiori Consultant (Onsite)

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Application Design & Development: Design and develop custom SAP Fiori applications/Enhance standard fiori applications using Fiori Elements, SAPUI5, HTML5, JavaScript, and CSS3.
•  Requirements Gathering & Analysis: Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications for Fiori applications.
•  Fiori Configuration: Configure the Fiori Launchpad/SAP Build Workzone including catalogs, groups, and security roles, to manage application access and user experience.
•  Backend Integration: Integrate Fiori applications with SAP backend systems by developing/consuming OData services.
•  Testing & Debugging: Perform system testing, debug issues, and ensure the performance, stability, and security of developed applications.
•  Technical Support & Maintenance: Provide technical support and maintenance for existing Fiori applications, including troubleshooting and fixing issues.
•  Documentation & Training: Develop documentation, user guides, and training materials for end-users and conduct training sessions.
•  Collaboration: Work with functional and technical teams to deliver high-quality, user-centric SAP solutions.
• Best Practices: Stay updated on SAP Fiori best practices, UX strategy, and emerging technologies to provide expert guidance.

Skill Set Requirement

•  Proficiency in Fiori Elements, SAPUI5, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and modern JavaScript frameworks.
• Must use the RAP model for developing apps.
•  Proficient in deploying and managing apps in cloud foundry.
• Experience with OData services, CDS views and other interfacing models.
•  Proficient in using Business Application Studio (BAS)/Visual studio code for Fiori development.
• Strictly follow SAP current best practices to deliver optimised apps.
• Must have experience in advanced concepts like annotations, workflows, barcoding, signature capturing(not the digital signature), file attachments, etc.
•  Based on the use cases, the apps developed/modified should be compatible with mobile,desktop and other devices.
•  Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot technical issues.
• Excellent communication skills to explain technical concepts and collaborate effectively.
