Technical Leadership & Legacy Maintenance:

• System Stewardship: Take ownership of legacy Magento installations; diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve critical performance issues, security vulnerabilities, and functional bugs.
• Code Modernization: Analyze and refactor aging codebases to improve site performance, maintainability, and compatibility with modern PHP standards.
• Version Upgrades: Plan and execute strategic upgrades for Magento versions to ensure platform security and supportability.
• Technical Consulting: Provide expert architectural guidance, ensuring that customizations and integrations are built with long-term scalability in mind.

Client Engagement & Communication:

• Direct Client Interface: Serve as the primary technical point of contact for clients. Actively participate in discovery meetings to gather requirements, provide status updates, and articulate complex technical challenges in a clear, non-technical manner.
• Requirement Translation: Work closely with stakeholders to understand their business roadmap and translate those needs into high-level technical specifications and actionable tasks.
• Relationship Management: Build strong, trust-based relationships with clients through transparent communication, proactive problem solving, and timely project delivery.

Expertise in the Shopify ecosystem is a plus.
