As part of a high-performance team of SAP Basis specialists you’ll design, install, configure and maintain our SAP system landscape whilst ensuring high availability, optimal performance and overall data security and integrity. You’ll work closely with the Fingent’s SAP Delivery lead, regional technology teams and the Global SAP team to ensure an ‘always on’ experience for our internal customers and a high customer service satisfaction rate across the business

 

Mandatory Skills:

  • At least 4 to 6 years of hands-on experience in SAP Basis Administration along with hands-on experience in Hana/Oracle
  • Strong Experience in L2+ 
  • Must have SAP BASIS experience on SAP S/4, ECC, SAP Netweaver 7.0 & above, PO, Solution Manager, MDM, CRM, EP, BI, TREX & Business Connectors
  • Prefer candidates who have troubleshooting skills
  • Must have hands on experience in configuring SAP Transport paths and troubleshooting Transport issues
  • Experience on BODS, BO, EPM, Redwood, SNOW will be an added advantage
  • Good in handling issues like performance tuning, interface troubleshooting etc
  • Good in planning and executing BASIS change activities including EHP upgrades,patches etc
  • Strong troubleshooting, analytical, problem- solving, and conceptual skills 
  • Strong customer focus and management of client expectations
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills 
  • Can work with minimum supervision and a good team player 

Preferred Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, engineering, information systems or related field preferred 
  • Three or more years of support services or project or program experience 
  • Experience working with the technology industry

 Key Responsibilities:

  • Exercises judgment in planning and organizing work; monitors performance and reports status. Prepares integration plans
  • Prepares activity and progress reports for server utilization
  • Works collaboratively with various members of the team and other Infrastructure resources in support of the client
  • Conducts special analyses and projects as required
  • Performs related functions and responsibilities, on occasion, as assigned
  • Remains current on developments in field(s) of expertise
  • Resolves and/or facilitates resolution of problems including identifying causes to prevent re-occurrence
  • Identifies and resolve business issues; escalate issues when appropriate
  • Participate in an on-call rotation with the other team members
  • Availability to work in 24×7 shifts
