The SAP Sales Manager is responsible for leading and managing the sales efforts related to SAP license/subscriptions and services. - Sales Strategy Development:
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and expand market share for SAP products and services.
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify opportunities for growth.
- Client Relationship Management:
- Build and nurture strong relationships with existing and potential clients.
- Understand clients’ business requirements and align SAP solutions to address their challenges.
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients, providing insights on how SAP solutions can enhance their business processes.
- Sales Team Leadership:
- Lead and mentor a sales team, providing guidance and support to achieve individual and collective sales objectives.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including pre-sales, marketing, and consulting, to ensure cohesive and effective sales processes.
- Pipeline Management:
- Manage the sales pipeline, ensuring a steady flow of opportunities and timely closure of deals.
- Forecast sales projections and provide regular updates to leadership on sales performance.
- Product Knowledge:
- Stay informed about SAP products, services, and industry trends.
- Conduct training sessions for the sales team to ensure a deep understanding of SAP solutions and effective communication with clients.
- Contract Negotiation:
- Lead negotiations with clients, ensuring favorable terms for both parties.
- Work closely with legal and finance teams to finalize contracts and agreements.
- Sales Reporting and Analysis:
- Prepare and present sales reports, performance metrics, and analyses to leadership.
- Utilize CRM tools to track and manage customer interactions, sales activities, and revenue forecasts.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
- Proven experience in SAP sales, with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Strong understanding of SAP products and services, with the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
